My parents are supporting my student finance application.

Will they be contacted when I graduate or when i start paying student finance back or are they kept completely separate?

Do you mean they are going to help you pay it back or did you just give thier details in the application?

If you just gave thier details then i dont think they would do either of those. Once you start earning over £25,000 it will be you who has to pay back the costs not your parents. The details they usually ask for is to help them determine household income per year and how much you would get as maintenance should you apply for it.

However if you really arent sure id suggest getting into contact with student finance so they can clarify for you.

I know I have to pay it back but I was worried student finance would bombard my parents with letters when I finished uni
