Hi - I recently have come to the awful realisation that perhaps I've chosen completely the wrong direction in life - taking humanities etc for A levels and even starting on a journalism degree recently before dropping out as it just really wasn't what I wanted to do with my life. I have an offer for philosophy next year as a degree that keeps my options open, but I'm now thinking I might want to look into a degree in something like environmental science through a foundation year as I have a great interest in environmental work. I didn't do any science subjects at A level and only did double science at GCSE - however I was quite good at all elements of this getting either As or at least high Bs . I wondered, in brutal honesty, how hard will this foundation year and the course following it be for me?
I could take tutored lessons in the months leading up to September when I'll be going to uni if it would be appropriate - and also to see if I actually do enjoy it.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!
