I'm guess I'm just wondering if you guys are going to the offer holders day to help decide which uni will be your firm? :holmes:

DD is applying for Vet med. There are only 9 unis offering it in the UK so it was feasible to look at most since they vary a lot in location, facilities and approach. 5 or 6 years is a long time to commit to a uni that you haven't even visited.
Didn't visit Glasgow as it was asking the same grades as Cambridge when she started looking although it has dropped the A* since then. Didn't visit Harper Keele as it was too new, not built yet and she didn't fancy the split locations and lecture delivery via webex at times.
We went to Bristol, Surrey, Cambridge, Nottingham, Liverpool, RVC and Edinburgh.

I've only been to one (so far), and I honestly have no idea what I want to do. The entry requirements are stressing me out the most .

Went to roughly 8/9 when I was applying - I was the first in my family to go to university so I really wanted to see a range of universities and have a chance to hear lots of opinions, and so did my parents

Managed to do it fairly cheap by buying train tickets in advance and then also did three open days in a row (Bath, Warwick and Bristol) as a little road trip with my dad during the summer!

0 at the time unis were doing open days I'd decided I definutely didn't want to do go uni, now I've applied I've changed my mind on that
Making do with youtube videos and virtual tours for now- the next open days I could find aren't until June? Unless we can contact the unis directly and ask for a tour? (Bit confused about that)
I'd like + need to go to a couple though
