Hello, I am an international applicant who applied at UCL in economics in october and I am still waiting for an anwser. Do you think I can ask when, aproximatly, I can hope for an anwser, or is it "impolite"?

Nope that is fine. If you are polite they wont mind. Rather than ask for a decision, just explain when you applied and an estimate if possible of when you might hear a decision by. They should be able to provide you with something, even if they dont they can give you the reassurance its on the system and someone has checked its progress.

You will note the 15th of Jan deadline has just passed and some may not even start looking till then.
