What degree are you referring to, are you wanting to study at undergraduate level (i.e law degree etc) or postgraduate (masters)?
I'm currently studying the LPC at Ulaw and I'm really enjoying it! With regards to the LPC the way it is taught is mainly by workshops where you have to prepare each week for them by doing lots of reading and answering specific questions set. Then in the workshops the teaching is focused around discussions and group work which personally I feel has made it much more sociable as you get to know everyone in your class really well. There are also a few lectures and also online lectures that you are able to access. The teaching is of a really good standard as they are all industry experienced professionals or qualified lawyers and there is an open door policy so if you are ever stuck or have any questions they have always been happy to help!
I have used the careers service at Ulaw a lot as you are able to book online and get an appointment with a careers specialist. I have used this so many times as they have helped with my CV, applications and general advice about obtaining training contracts in the future so I would definitely use this service if you choose to study at Ulaw!
If you have any other general questions about Ulaw then let me know as i'm happy to help out

Im happy to answer your question. At ULaw, we do not have accommodation on site. But there so many online sites that can be used to find accommodation:
https://www.unilodgers.com/uk/london...-of-law?page=1
https://www.studentpad.co.uk/institu...versity-of-law
https://wearehomesforstudents.com/st...versity-of-law
Alternatively, many postgraduate students travel in for lessons, this could be an option.
Were you looking for accommodation at our Manchester campus??
I hope this has helped you!!

Every Campus differs! My best advice would be to be to contact Manchester student services or on our website has some useful links for Accommodation in Manchester - https://www.law.ac.uk/locations/manchester/
Or alternatively book yourself on an Open day and talk to the student ambassador about their experience, they will be your best best!!
If your nervous about moving away from home, visit the accommodation a couple of times before you venture out of the nest, Explore the City and get involved in Facebook groups for the Campus before your arrival! then you can be more comfortable and hopefully begin friendships before you start your undergraduate course!!
I hope this helps!
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask
