Hello i was wondering if ISPs still issue warning letters for torrenting now.
I read somewhere that they are no longer required to, but do ISPs still issue them anyway.

BTW I totally don't torrent whatsoever and I strongly condone illegal activities especially on the web. Cough

yes, this article https://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2019/07/is...ement-notices/ claims ISPs will no longer be sending copyright infringement emails, at least in the uk. But I still connect to this vpn http://atlasvpn.com/vpn while torrenting just in case

thank god for that. the fact it used to tell you the exact file name scared me the most. It would of been very embarrassing if my parents got a letter saying I illegally tried to download sex education

I have never torrented anything either, especially books, cough. And hypothetically speaking I have never received a letter
