Predicted AAA
Bath Psychology (so a very highly ranked course and uni) need A*AA
however they gave me an offer even though I'm predicted lower than the entry requirements. The offer is A*AA
how come some people get rejected when they're predicted the requirements but I got an offer?

well done on your offer !!!!
you should proud !!!

do you know how Bath uses personal statements, references, public vs private school ratio or any other external factors that aren't grades that could influence offers, it could be anything really

There's a lot more factors that go into sending out offer than simply predicted grades. My predicted grades were AAB and I got an offer of AAA. Spoiler I ended up with AAB and still got onto the course!

Lots of uni’s give aspirational offers. Many don’t use predictions in their assessment at all. It’s not at all unusual.

It could be based on the strength of your personal statement, reference, work experience and/or a combination. It is because they see that you have the potential to do better, so it is an 'aspirational offer'. See it as positive motivation
