I withdrew from uni a year later, will they give me a reference

hi guys.I withdrew from uni after a year and I'm planning to go to a different uni. Will my old uni give me a reference??

email them or phone them and ask.
In all likelihood, yes. It’s not that uncommon to leave somewhere and require a reference from them at some point.
