Try tea tree oil (diluted) and drinking green tea. Buy a face wash with salicylic acid as a main ingredient. Invest in a good moisturiser, not greasy and long-lasting moisture. Eat plenty of fruit and veg, keep sugar and deep-fried foods to a minimum. I also make a tumeric mask once a week, within two months my acne was clear after a monstrous breakout I had when I went into a river :/
Acne is caused by bacteria and hormones. Unless you ask for medicines from your gp, making sure your face is clean and you’re getting the right nutrients will make a difference. I have oily skin, so if your skin is similar I would recommend salicylic acid face wash strongly and a good non-greasy moisturiser. Even if you don’t, making sure your face is clean is important. Tea tree and turmeric have natural anti-bacterial properties and are really cheap alternatives to expensive face washes that probably won’t even work well.
