How do I avoid him?

So there’s this guy at my work and we have known each other years. Thing is I’m a guy and so is he, I fancy him a lot. Thing is I told him last year I was interested in him and he told me he was straight but since then his eyes are never off me at work, he started becoming more invested after I said I liked him by communicating with me online and via texting . Thing is I’m really into him and working together it’s hard to avoid each other,, how do I combat this?
Well if you are working at the same place, I would say it is going to be immensely difficult to avoid him.
All you can do is act normal and be civil to him if he talks to you and try to act as though nothing has happened.
