Since the archaeology department is in kings manor, is that where the classes typically take place? Also, what is fieldwork like?

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Many of the lectures and practical sessions for Archaeology happen at King's Manor, but the department also benefits from facilities on the main campus, which you may use depending on which modules you take. For example, there's the PaleoHub, BioArCh, and the YEAR centre.

As for the fieldwork, I recommend you contact the Admissions Tutors via [email protected], as they should be able to give you a better insight into what you'll experience while completing your degree.
