I should add this as an option :lol:
Passion for the subject. My degree is in Biomedical Science but since the end of 2nd/start of 3rd year (I'm doing a 5yr degree) I've been keen to specialise in parasitology. However, I'm currently doing a sandwich year where I primarily work with viruses and it's swaying me more towards virology now.
