Switching to the year abroad option halfway through my course...is it possible?

I am currently in year 2 of my degree, and chose the standard 3-year option opposed to the 4-year option including a year abroad. I didn't want to accrue even more debt and I had the aim of just finishing my degree in the shortest time.

However,speaking to others who have chosen the year abroad option has made me consider things, and I am now really regretful that I didn't choose that option. Is it possible to switch to a year abroad option even though I am halfway through year 2?

I think that you should contact your study abroad office, personal tutor or course director as they would be able to advise you on the university's policy. But, you should be able to make that switch.
