Are there any other 20/21 year olds interested in potentially getting a house together?

Lol if you're going to exclude other mature-ish students then that's fine, but don't expect many responses if you have an age range of 2 years 😂 best of luck to you lol but 20 year olds are a similar age to someone who is 20-25

Got my offer on the 31st of January. Did all the offers get sent out at the same time? If not does anyone know why they get sent out at different times.

Does anyone know if it's worth getting a car to travel around the city? (I'm travel sick so buses and other public transport are only used in an emergency)

I would say no. Newcastle is a nightmare to drive around and you can pretty much walk everywhere.

I drive door to door from jes to the Marjorie Robinson library haha!

Seriously kubes_04 though I’d get a car if you play sports. Or if you’re a night owl, you don’t wanna walk back from the libraries in the dark bc you have to go through a certain park- it’s not unsafe per se but it is errrie

Pretty much most that requires a field- I have to drive to hockey. The bit where you have to cross from town across 4 lanes in about 200 yards majorly stresses me. But to that library it’s just straight down ozzy road and past hobo so happy days!

You probs will benefit from a car for placements but I suppose that’s a while off for you guys. For first and second year they provide transport if your gp is far (med school pay £80 for our taxi), or coach for hospitals
