Teeth whitening is relatively expensive...but i saw this advert for one place doing it for £99....
They claim to have same effect etc.. Could this be a scam perhaps? Are there any dengers of getting your teeth whitened professionally?

They might be a bit dodgy, but then again it could be legit. Does the place have a reputable reputation? If so, go for it. £99 seems okay... And I'm not sure as far as dangers go, best ask someone knowledgeable in that area. :p:

They claim to have the same effect, and it's true - they both lighten your wallet incredibly efficiently.

Do you honestly think that having perma-white, glow in the dark teeth is going to drastically improve your chances of pulling?

What if you have really yellow teeth though, or staining from coffee etc? Surely teeth whitening will drastically improve their smile? :biggrin:

If it makes you feel more confident, then yes :smile:

I've always been obsessed with the colour of my teeth, and having them whitened gave me a massive confidence boost - that can improve pulling chances.

OP - what type of whitening is it? A friend had the UV one done and said it did nothing, but I've had great results with the bleach. (It is all quite expensive though)

Anyways, my whitening from my dentist costs £100 per set. So assuming that yours is per set, then the price is exactly what it should be.

Ok I am pulling this thread out of the dead before I make a new one.

I am looking to get my teeth whitened as soon as really and had a couple of questions:

Where can I find places to get them whitened in London? I have googled but is there a well recognised site that gives you a full list of good trustworthy dentists within the London area?

I am going crazy because after doing research on TSR some people are saying Laser is not as good - but I just want a bit of a clean really - my teeth are not stained just would like a brighter smile!

Advice would be appreciated before I get on with making a new thread!

I don't really agree with unnatural ways of "improving" your body. Though while you're at it, you may as well get a tummy tuck and have a colonic irrigation if you're that worried about your body. :yy:

I meant going beyond the normal call of duty to achieve something you can quite easily have by doing a simple activity (such as brushing your teeth).
