Anyone know if London deaneries allow swap of rotations

as in title whether it be per F1 or F2 or individual jobs?

There used to be an F2 swap shop but it was for the whole year, not just individual rotations. Not sure it still happens.

The swap shop no longer operates. It may be possible to swap a rotation with another doctor, but you would have to find them and do the leg-work yourself. Foundation programme rotations are put together to provide a broad range of experience, while meeting generic professional competencies, and therefore you wouldn't be able to swap to do only surgical rotations, for example.

I have F1 with breast/endo surgery, ID and ICU...not sure how that are broad since 2 are specialist and tbf even surgery is too.

Yeah, but probably the programme would say that they each provide different elements And skills for the foundation curriculum. And it is a two year programme, so i guess you are doing the community element in the second year.
As long as you were still getting your quota of surgery, medicine and community, there's literally no reason why not.

But its the NHS so its almost certainly not allowed no.

So... surgery, medicine, and a good rotation applicable to virtually everything?

Like, ID is not going to be all dengue, Wuhan and rocky mountain spotted fever. It'll be 85% cellulitis and gastroenteritis - broad things!

I am an F1 in NC&E London and we have a swap shop; they also allow individual rotations (must meet certain criteria and be applied for within a certain time of starting etc but definitely still a possibility.
