The Student Room Group

9am-6pm non-stop

Hello,
Unsure what to do, as I have been given a different lecture for every single hour on a day.
Is this usual practise for universities, or is this unusual? I have included a photo of my timetable to help you understand my problem easier.

Thanks!

Not usual but I had days last year when I was on a computer science degree, where I would have 6-7hrs of lectures and then another day would be 1hr and especially as part of yours is lectures and the other is workshops/practical this is likely due to either staff availability or access to rooms. I’d have thought that normally you’d have a break for an hour for lecturers and students to grab lunch

Find out if the workshops are optional. If you are already familiar with OOP, then you might be able to skip the workshop. Also, the OOP workshop is repeated - perhaps you only have to go to one?
Not usual, but does sometimes happen. Ask if you can swap into a different workshop group (if different groups meet on different days) so you could have a lunch break?
