Calming universal credit before possibly going to uni

If I’m currently claiming universal credit but I’m thinking of going to uni in September would I tell them I’m thinking of doing or wait until I get a place then tell them?
You only need to report a change of circumstances when it happens

As above.

You are supposed to be looking for work in exchange for receiving universal credit so if you have no actual intention of working they can refuse your claim or sanction you.

I myself did claim it for about two months before university and did not tell them (well, jobseekers).
The op isnt sure when to tell dwp about uni. Not to claim uc when studying
