Either try again and take a gap year or do a different degree.

What's scary about it exactly? Spend the year working and getting some more experience if necessary. Your gap year is what you make of it and you don't need your friends to hold your hand to get through it.

Also, unless you were rejected for reasons which mean you genuinely stand no chance at getting into medicine now as a school leaver, don't go down the graduate entry medicine path.

Quite a few choose to take a gap year - you can get more experience and earn some money. If you REALLY want to do medicine it is probably the best option.

I get that- i'm not sure what exactly it is but i've never thought of taking a gap year but now it just seems like an option.

I don't think I'll be going down the grad entry path
Thank you for the advice xx

Understandable. Just focus on getting the grades you need for now.

Getting into medicine via clearing is also sometimes possible, but it's not as easy as it is with other subjects where you just phone them up and they give you a place, you will still have to do an interview

Is that because you believe life is a race and everyone will be pointing the finger at you because you didnt make it in first time? You think your parents will disown you?

GCSE: nine 8s and ou need for now.
wow thats really good. U def stand a chance ce if u apply again in the gap year. And with good work experience and volunteering. Your application will be very storng and also do more stuff on the UCAT now that u have another chance. My advice is apply to keele which will def give u an interview invite if ur work experience and volunteering is strongd. And also applying to Plymouth is a good option
