It can done yes but it is not advisable aged 16 again for the reasons of Landlords, paying bills etc. The best place to go is Student services at your college etc or Connexions and get them to help you find the right people to sort you out with accomodation. There's not a cat's chance in hell of buying and very little with renting privately but hope you find something that works.

im saying that 16 year olds cant cope but think about it wouldnt you rather do it when you can finacally support yourself?

I had to move because I got kicked out of my foster home, and they wouldn't re-house me, basically. I don't recommend it unless you have to though, and it was hard when I *had* enough money to do it, even.

it's sixteen, but there are lots of complications that could arise if you're considered to be at any sort of risk or where you're living is at all unsuitable. your parents are actually still considered responsible for you.
seventeen it becomes a little easier, but you'll still struggle to get a landlord, a job earning enough to pay your way. you can get help, more if you're in education(ema, bursaries for those living away from home).

do you have jobs? savings? will your parents let you go or are they going to kick up a huge fuss to get you back?
