Glasgow vs Edinburgh for English Lit/ Art HistoryWatch this thread
I love both cities, and though I know Edinburgh much better, Glasgow seemed friendly and very similar to my home city of Liverpool. I know Glasgow is a bit better for nightlife, and although I'm not that into partying, the music scene draws me in. On the other hand, Edinburgh seems to have slightly more going on in the arts such as theatre performances, the fringe etc. Glasgow - the UNESCO city of music vs Edinburgh - the UNESCO City of Literature...
Overall, I'm really stuck and would greatly appreciate some advice, particularly from people who have studied English Lit or Art History at either of the unis.
More about University of Glasgow
no matter what uni you go to you could easily get a bus/train from Glasgow to Edinburgh or vice versa, at most its an hour depending on traffic, so if you choose one over the other you can still visit the other city during weekends/holiday/spare time
visit open days, speak to students and go to offer holders day if that is a thing they do
