i'm having trouble fidning an anti-perspirant that actually says what it does on the front? i seem to put it on and then be sweating again by the time i've got out of the door. any opinions on the best anti-perspirants out at the moment that actually give 'long-lasting freshness'?
it's slightly unattractive to have sweat patches in the morning, one looks like a bit of a tramp.
Triple Dry is good. It's got aluminium in it so it 'redirects' something within your sweat glands. I dunno exactly but it has certainly cut down my sweating, not completely but I think I just have a problem lol.
You can get it as a spray or stick. There are a few others that contain this aluminium stuff aswell.
If you really sweat loads there's something called 'driclor' which you only put on a couple of times a week and is supposed to stop you sweating, but I don't know if I'd like to leave the house with no deodorant on..
I heard the overnight ones are really good, there's pne you put on and wash off in the morning and you do it twice a week and it's supposed to work very well. I thought aluminium is meant to be really bad to put on your skin though? do any of these bleach clothes? I use a normal one and far too many of my clothes are ruined now

i generally don't use anti perspirants as they clog pores (what they are intended to do albeit) and stop you from sweating and therefore maintaining a correct body temp. however I do believe that mitchum is very good.

I have the same problem. Lynx dry is terrible, I curently use Right Guard Extreme Dry, but this doesnt seem to work. Infact when i wear deoderant, I sweat but if I run out then for some reason i dont seem to sweat when i dont have any on I still prefer to wear it though..
I think there was a theory about it, some link between it and breast cancer. I've not heard much about this for a while though so maybe it was disproved.
I used to use Mitchum roll on but it really irritates my skin after a few days so I used to have to use it for a few days, then use a normal one for a week, then use mitchum again and now it doesnt even seem to work as effectively for me. I'm still searching for a good one.
I agree, despite the unattractive container it's actually quite good.
I also think that you should either
a) If you're having a massive sweat problem you can go and see your doctor and they will give you a prescription one (yes this does happen) or b) make sure you're using an antiperspirant, not a deodorant.
nivea for men, aqua cool is the best i've tried so far, not tried the mitchum or sure for men one though. i personally hate linx, the smells too strong, it doesnt do its job and it just reminds me of scallies when i smell it.
You really shouldn't spout rubbish like that without attempting to back it up with evidence.
it does actually,
there is a clear link with breast cancer and aluminum antiperspirants, lots of research has been done on the matter, so much in fact its common knowledge among medics.
The old Sure that completely savaged your pits with white flakes was absolutely awesome. All this no-white-mark-nonsense just doesn't cut it I'm afraid.

i'm no expert but i thought that they found aluminium in breast cancer tumours and didnt prove that the alu actually caused the cancer? and wasn't it related to spray deodorants which have aluminium in them from the can?
