Is that 10^2 or .... in the answer?

Where have you gotten the 10^2 from?
it should be 10^5...
Ive literally no idea how you have lost a factor of 1000. If your unsure you could always factorise 10^5 out...

If you move decimal place 2 times from 7.45 it's 2 so it's 10^2 right?

No. I'm not sure what you're saying

9.75*10^5 - 2.3*10^5 =
975000 - 230000 = 745000
which in standard notation is ....

Is the answer 13 hours because because Time = distance÷speed ?

Nearly. They talk about the time for the trip which probably means you double the distance to account for both legs of the journey..
