1) Don't know
2) 2/13 can't be reduced, so I'd say it.

Why?

Handsolo: What level are you at and is there any more info in the questions?

Why?

maybe it's because it is the only one smaller than 1/13, this is too vague!

Reply 5

3) 7/28?

Because it's the only one whose reciprocal is a whole number?

Reply 6

3) 7/28 is the only one that can be simplified.

Reply 7

2) 2/13 - the only one that cant be simplified
3) 7/28 - the only one that can be simplified.

This may sound a bit random, but it's the only one where the denominator is a prime number. That's about all I can think of for that one.

Or because the denominator is the product of only one prime number - 5 x 1, whereas all other denominators are products of two or more prime numbers.

3x5
2x2
3x2
3x2x2
etc

You can write all numbers as a product of primes. Uniquely, too!

1) 1/4, because all the other fractions are as bent as a nine bob note.

Or, more precisely, the numbers are made up entirely of straight lines :p:

Thanks for the help. It would seem that it is just the ones that can either be simplified or not. Its just from a numerical reasoning test.
