Well firstly Islam asks you to marry a Muslim, this doesn’t involve your skin colour, ethnicity etc. However, most Asians due to culture try to clash Islam with the society and say that you can only marry someone from the ethnicity as you. This is mainly because of the common thought ‘what would other people say?’

Once you're an adult it's your decision and not what your parents 'let' you do. Sometimes it's going to be a tough choice between family and marriage, but people do make that big step. After all, do you want to keep living with parents or start a new life with that special woman?

I've heard of many Asian (Pakistani) girls who've married outside their ethnicity.

The Islamic rule is that as long as you're Muslim nothing else matters.

Naturally some parents will be more stricter than others.

Hope everything works out!

its not that easy. i mean they might but rarely most are open minded.
