Triple award is always better. It will require a greater depth of understanding in the subject content and more dedication but it will provide you with 3 grades rather than 2 from a double award. It’s important to choose your award carefully as it is quite a jump from double to triple. Always remember though. Triple is valued more if you want to go on to grammar schools or sixth forms or University etc.

Triple award isn't always better. If you have no plans to do science and don't really enjoy it, I'd say that you should do double. However if you are willing to put in the work (there are more topics in triple science) and actually enjoy science then I'd say do triple.

Truth is, whether you do double or triple, you can still do science at A-level. However, there may be a bigger jump between A-levels and double science, versus A-level and triple science.
