Hi there,

Thank you for your question! Deciding which university to go to is a really big choice, and I think one of the best things you can do is make sure to attend open days for all of your top choices if you haven't already.

It's one of the best ways you can make a decision because you can see the facilities, chat to academics and current students who study Finance and see if you can imagine yourself on campus/in Leicester. If you're interested, our next open day is on Saturday 14th March and you can book your place here: www.dmu.ac.uk/opendays

I hope that helps and that you make the right decision for you soon! If you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask

Hi @April22222,

I am pleased that you are considering coming to the University of Lincoln. To reiterate what Laura said, I would suggest coming along to one of our open days if you haven't already. Open days are a great opportunity to see the campus and the city to get a feel for the place. You are also able to chat to some of the current students and academics about your course. To view a list of our 2020 open days click here.

As a current third year student at the University of Lincoln, I can tell you that in my experience Lincoln is a really lovely place to live and study. Lincoln is a fairly small city but it still has everything you need and there are plenty of things to do. There are lots of sports and societies to get involved in, if there is something you are particularly interested in then this may be something worth looking into when choosing a university. Personally, I joined the squash society and made lots of friends through this. Being part of this society means that I can attend three training sessions a week and there are also social events that run bi-weekly, which is a good event to socialise with others in the society. You can see a full list of the different sports and societies that we offer here.

Good luck with making your decision and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Jack
