I find trophies can sometimes make you end up hating a game because for some reason your cant get that particular trophy

No not really. I do occasionally look at the trophies and if I see one or two that I can get quite easily, I will do them. But for the most part, they unlock as you progress through the game usually so I ignore them. I'll unlock them eventually!

Not particularly. I do have a look at the trophchievements before I start playing, but I don't often go out of the way to hunt for them. If I really love the game or if I've got the majority of them and only need a few more, I'll go for it, but it's rare.

If the trophies or achievements in a game are relevant to the plot, I almost ignore them to be concentrate on the main game.
