My careers advisor told me that I shouldn't do any BTECs and instead take GCSEs. I don't find any of the GCSE options useful or interesting to make a career out of in the future but I find Health and social care ( a BTEC) very interesting and something I may find useful in a future job. Should I take Health and social care instead of a GCSE that won't help me in the future? Please reply as soon as possible I have to give in my form tomorrow. Also, information about health and social care would be useful too ( e.g Is it hard? is it stressful or time consuming?)

Go for it if it interests you but bear in mind it might affect what you want to do in further education. As long as what you want to do then isn't affected, it's totally fine.
