How many years of student loan?

This is my plan:

Access to HE (funded by advanced learner loan - this is written off once I complete a degree)

Degree Year 1 (SLC)
Degree Year 2 (SLC)
Degree Year 3 (SLC)

Will I be able to access funding for a fourth year to do a PGCE?
Yes. PGCE funding is separate to undergrad funding.

Hi there!

Yes of course there is funding if you do a PGCE! It is considered part of postgraduate rather than undergraduate and their is additional funding for postgrad. There may be bursaries as well depending on what you are studying your PGCE in.

Get online and have a look at what is available but if you are unsure in the meantime, get in touch with Student Finance England. They can answer all of your queries no matter how simple or complicated your questions may be.

Hope this helps!
