Do I still have a chance at US medical schools?Watch
So, I had initially planned on majoring in economics, which is why I took Business, Economics and Sociology for AS/A levels, but now I’ve changed my mind and I really want to go to medical school. Problem is I don’t know whether I’ll be able to get in with the AS/A level courses I chose. Can I still get into Pre-Med in the US? I really don’t know what I can do at this point, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes.
(1) If you wanted to ask the equivalent Q for UK med schools, post in https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/sho....php?t=5678544
(2) It is unlikely that your A-Levels will be directly transferable to US school systems. Medicine in the US is post-graduate and not under-graduate like the UK. I am sure you'll get someone more knowledgeable about med in the US here.
