Hey, I was just wondering what does the implant do to your periods and is it worth getting it done?
Would I have to book an appointment with my GP or would I have to go to a different place? I know that’s probably a stupid question I’m just wondering.

Hi so firstly you will need to book an appointment with your GP to discuss the plan of action. Next you will book another appointment to have it placed into your arm

Regarding periods, it completely depends on the person
- they can stop all together
- they can become irregular and heavy
-they can become irregular and light
-they can stay as normal

However if you are having problems regarding your period the doctors can give you a mini-pill which is like the pill but not as intense to go along side the implant to stop the periods from happening
This is what I have

Hope this helps!
