TBH your age might not affect you much at uni (if you dont want it too).

Assuming your wanting to go out to clubs then you'll need to try and blag it using your student ID card, how successful this is will likely depend on the city & clubs.

Apart from this your age wont make a difference. Id just pick the uni you want to regardless of age, your gunna be there another 2-3 years anyway so pick the best one for you.

There’ll be more 17 year olds alongside you at Scottish universities if that matters.

Just pick the course and location you think you’ll thrive in.

Hello,
I'm glad to hear you're considering Lancaster. I'm not sure that English unis will have much of a different experience for an under 18 student. Unfortunately you won't be able to go clubbing in welcome week if you're under 18, or buy any drinks from the college bars (although you should be able to attend the events). There are alternative non-drinking events every night of welcome week though so you will be able to attend lots of social events anyway. As far as I know, it's quite uncommon for under 18s to attend university in England.
Let me know if you have any questions of anything I can help you with so you can make your decision.
