Lying about grades in CV

I am applying for investment banking internships and am thinking of lying about my A level grades (A*A*A*A* which were my predicted instead of AAAA) as they are very competitive. Will my employers ever find out?

don't lie about it. Lying about your grades is fraud.

That is what I found:
Is it illegal to lie on your CV?
The consequences of lying on your CV
Including false information in a job application is considered fraud.

I found it here:

Fraud is a criminal offence.

Information about the offence:
Penalty. The maximum penalty for offences under Sections 1, 7 and 9 and is 12 months' imprisonment on summary conviction and 10 years' imprisonment on conviction on indictment. Section 10 of the Act increases the maximum penalty for offences contrary to Section 458 of the Companies Act 1985 to 10 years' imprisonment.

That would be an extremely dumb thing to do especially since they might ask for prove and what are you gonna do then? You have great grades you don’t need to lie about them

If the internships are competitive, they will undoubtedly ask for proof of your grades if you get an offer, so there's no point in lying.
