If it's real I feel bad but op needs to be more clever lol scary and crazy dad though?

If it's a lie, he still needs to be more clever; this was a boring read.
Fully agree with you. I think the story might actually be something lifted from Dawson's Creek, circa 1999

so i was getting ready to go to school... and it was getting time to leave the house. but before we left, my dad made me and my brother our daily milkshake. so we started to drink it and he started to head the truck. fast-forward, i finished the milkshake and left the house, hopped in the truck, and he asks me "did you finish your shake", i respond with "of course"... i guess he didn't hear because he asked it again. and i responded with the same thing. except this time i whispered under my breath "i mean i had no choice". he quickly hops out of the truck and goes over to me and swings open my door. i think fast and jump out of the other side of the truck. he proceeds to yell at me and say go in the house rn. i do as he said. i go in the house, and as expected, he follows me. we're in the house and he starts yelling to get my moms attentions to inform her what had just happened. i kinda drifted off and since he was yelling i quickly started to voice record him. then, i got closer to him so that the recording could capture what he was saying. when outta nowhere he says give me your phone. i was kinda cornered so i had no choice but to give him my phone. anxiety struck me as i realized i was still voice recording. there was nothing i could do but hope that he doesn't find that i was recording him. 5 sec later were heading out of the house again. he checks my phone, and the recording is the first thing that pops up. he turns around and says W*F is this?! i was speechless. he turns back around and YEETS the phone super hard at the ground. not gonna lie i teared up. here i am now venting to whoever reads this... anyway, what is yalls opinion/what should i do??? thanks
You did a good job in winding him up. People arent always so predictable. Keep those other recordings on the cloud.

Which is what I said, if you read my post...
Yes... And you completely missed the main point that said I have absolutely no idea how you came to the conclusion that the OP might have meant a lorry... If that wasn't what you even slightly thought the OP could've been talking about, why mention lorries in the first place?

Some right snowflakes on here. OP is probably still a child and dad probably paid for the phone. There was no need for you to record he was just shouting at you which parents do when kids don't listen. Not like he was beating the **** out of you or something

About a month ago, there was a similar story on here. I was moved so much that I sent the OP a new phone. Call me stupid. I had to chase him for thanks and I am of the belief that it was a con. I am being anonymous here but I have posted under my normal name in this thread

Sometimes it eases your soul to be compassionate. But when it is not appreciated, a little bit of you dies. As it has with me.

I gave away hundreds of millions of an in-game currency and stuff with it and got a lot of thanks. If someone is lucky enough to get a phone in real life they should be praising you. I got called Space Jesus by someone, you spent real money you could have used and learned a bad lesson.
At least you tried.

I feel this was more for me to show off my generous side rather than add anything meaningful.
