BP boss, Bernard Looney, announced the plans today falling in line with the companies rivals. But did not detail how this would be done, causing criticism from Greenpeace.
Charlie Kronick, oil advisor from Greenpeace UK, said there were many unanswered questions. "How will they reach net zero? Will it be through offsetting? When will they stop wasting billions on drilling for new oil and gas we can't burn?
This comes as BP has had several protests againat it.
What do we think?
A good start, should BP do more. What can BP do?

He does know that BP stands for British Petroleum right? Might odd business move for an oil major to get out of the oil game. Rather akin to a gun manufacturer deciding not to make guns.
