I swear I’ve tried every trick in the book, but I can’t stop making my foundation from looking cakey.

I’ve recently been getting into make up (a lot later than my peers) and haven’t really been very good at it.

Any tips for someone new? I’ve got good products, it’s the application I suck at

Depends which foundation you use firstly, everyone’s skin is different. Also do you apply it with a brush or a blender? I used to use a brush but it felt heavy on my skin, I switched to a damp beauty blender and it looks a lot better. Also how much are you putting on? I use the new benefit liquid foundation and i’ve never had issues with caking, I always apply a facial sunscreen before (korean beauty hacks lol) which could help?
