I am thinking of getting a new handheld game thing in a few months(may/june) and want a retro one......I have looked on ebay and I want one of the following

Game Gear
Game Boy Advance
NDS
PSP

for anyone here thats knows about any of these which one would you own and what are the good/bad points

id probably go the psp bc there's a large range of games which aren't just sony owned titles yet also do have those classics. I think psp has the most handheld feel too.
NDS is also a great choice too actually since it survived for a very long time so it has all the great nintendo games on it. A 3DS isn't a bad idea either even tho u want retro, it can still play all the older games that were on the nds.
Idk anything bout the gamegear.
GBA SP if anything bc of the charging and backlight features compared to a regular gba

If you wanted a DS, get a 3DS. You can play DS and 3DS games on it.

Or get the very good Switch...

Game Gear... That's a blast from the past. All I remember playing on it though was Sonic, quite religiously.

I'd suggest an NDS personally if you get one of the older versions, it has a GBA slot too. So you have the benefit of playing GBA games and NDS games, both of which has some pretty awesome titles.

do you have a 3ds? you can play all games from all of those expect psp on it

Thanks for that

I am Looking for the handheld with the best choice of games and most variety

I like look of the GBA it has alot of decent well loved games and I my go for that
