I am currently in 1st year of sixth form, and we are getting pressured to find work experience, so i really want to get Computer science work experience. however i am struggling to find any, any tips?

I did work experience in a lab (which was also really hard to find). The way I got mine was just asking lots of people if they had work experience available, eventually someone said I could email her my CV and then she said yes! I met her at a science festival so if there are any events you are going to they are good places to look. If not then its probably a good idea to search for places in your local area and email any that look like they might be a good fit. Don’t be afraid to ask!

Haha sorry forgot to mention I’m applying for chemistry at uni (not computer science) but I thought my experience was still relevant.
