Has an assessment for CBT today - and should hear back tomorrow.

However, the wait list for face-to-face CBT is 8 months, and there is no wait for online CBT - I have to pick between the two.
I've been waiting for an appointment for 2 years now - so I really think that online CBT might be my best bet - by the time I get to the top of the waitlist for fact-to-face, I'll probably be in uni a few hundred miles away.

So I was wondering if anyone had an experiences and opinions of online CBT (especially in comparison with personal)?

I only experienced CBT face to face, which took ages to get. If you can get it online soon I would give it a go and see how things go.

From research online CBT can be just as effective as face to face CBT. I think the main thing when you go into CBT is to believe it will work and that you want to change.
