Hi, I was hoping someone may be able to help me. Is bridge rd, Birmingham ideal for students? Are there lots of students in that area. I see it is close to Ashton University. Thanks in advance

Bridge Road is roughly 2 miles from Aston uni so it will take maybe 35-45 minutes to walk. Buses run roughly every 15 minutes up/down Alum Rock Road which isn't far from Bridge Road.
Alum Rock is a predominantly Asian area. I'm not suggesting that's a bad thing, but some people who are not from that ethnic background may feel somewhat out of place, so just something to bear in mind.
It's not an area I would personally associate with lots of students, I think of it as a typical mix of mainly Asian households.
