How can I improve non verbal communications in teaching
This can be a lot of fun if you are happy to become a bit of a character with your teaching. The great thing about the profession is you can show a different personality and character to your usual personality as you can almost put on a show.

Little tips that can help with this is to plan an learning episode where you don't talk during it. Now simple things could be a youtube clip, or a written task where worksheets are given out. But my personal favourite is charades. Bit of drama and acting involved and it's a great way to assess learning, especially used for plenaries. Kids tend to love it and get really engaged. Once you've built the trust and relationships with the group you can let them get up and perform and highlight what they have learnt through the art of charades too.

Hope this helps.
