The UK Space Agency's annual budget is under £400million.

The NHS's annual budget gravitates between £115-120billion. A chunk of that is wasteful or downright suspicious.

Many countries seem to have aimless futures beyond "supporting their populations".

Ergo, it is suggested that 5-10% of the annual UK healthcare budget be redirected instead to the UK Space Agency. This would give an additional annual amount of between £5 and £10billion. This would be nearing half of the annual budget of the USA's NASA (which is itself not even enough anyway).

Thoughts?

(P.S. People like to moan about government incompetency in the UK blah blah but it's clearly rubbish (pretense). We don't see sinkholes across the country, dilapidated buildings, crumbling infrastructure or whatever like you would see in some parts of Africa or a North African warzone.

So let's use the money that saves multiple lives each day, for some people flying into space?

The NHs should be replaced by compulsory medical insurance. That way, people would know where their money is going.
