hey every1

I have ownerd this car almost 3 years, driven over 60,000 miles and the engine has been superb and never elt me down. it has been well looked after and a pleasure to drive despite it being at 194,000 on the clock.
it has regular services by myself using best oils .
it has had timing belt and water pump kit, flywheel and clutch kit witihn last 2 years also, and new rear calipers, discs nad pads , droplinks all around, and other parts fitted

do you think it is a decent looking car ?

Not my sort of car but if you like it that’s all that matters, it’s definitely not a bad car just a bit plain in my eyes.

"it has been well looked after"

Oh come on now.

For reference:

How much does a small windshield chip usually cost to repair ?
Can a windshield chip be repaired twice ?
Was my windshield chip repaired wrong ?
Windscreen resin not curing properly in repaired pit. it's able to be scraped out
How difficult /easy is to fit an exhaust clamp ?
Is it okay to secure exhaust with a Jubilee clip ?
The front windscreen wipers suddenly stopped working, why ?
Is it okay to swap 16 inch wheels for 17 inch wheels ?
cambelt and water pump replaced, drove car home now not starting ?
took door panel off, now the car won't open from inside?
Why does my car not start and make a clicking noise ?
Why do the front fog lamps on my car not work ?
How would I know if the engine mount had gone on my car ?
Did my friend rip me off when fitting a alternator ?
New backbox hitting inside of bumper, what to do ?
Is it normal for the temp gauge to go past half way slightly ?
Can I drive without rear brake pads to drive the car shop to buy new ones ?
Pressing brake pedal with no pads in caliper/connected ? ( brake and disc job )
Car not starting after timing belt change, did drive home but not starting now
Did I cross thread sump bolt when doing oil changer ? plug was tight to put back in.
Is it difficult to replace a windshield yourself ?
Would a 2007 car pass mot without front fog lamps working ?
why has Rear brake pads on one side worn right down, only replaced 6 months ago.
Is it difficult to bleed brakes ? just replaced caliper
Would a gasoline car battery jump starter work on a diesel car ?
Driving with car handbrake on then burning smell?
Thumping (drum being hit sound ) noise when pressing car brakes then scraping

I think it looks good. Not a fan of the vectra but I'd say the facelift version is not bad. Personally would rather have a vw, but would still be happy with your car. If it does drive and is reliable, I'd keep it, however it might be a good idea to save up for a new car if it's a diesel vectra (They want to ban it everywhere). If I had your car, I'd tint it, I think that would make it look super slick!

If everything you've written is true, this car is a death trap and should never pass any MOT.

How is it a death trap and why would it fail mot?

Well, I guess that car is ok if you want to leave it parked and never drive it. I'd be scared to drive it, but it still looks good imo. May not drive good

Mark here is a serial wind up merchant. Very odd chap.

The car is listed for sale on Shpock - which is an odd place to sell a car anyway - and he has an unusual history on that place.

He tries selling stuff to people, accepts their money, then changes his mind and goes off on one, telling them they need therapy.

I doubt this car is worth scrappage, let alone the £900 he's asking.

At 190k miles I think its nearly impossible to get that money. If I had it, I'd eBay auction it with a reserve of £200, if that doesn't work, I'd scrap it or sell it to someone who really wants it

why does the mileage matter , the engine is superb and as is the car, yes I have had a few minor problems with ti but most car's have littoe blips time-time but this is the most reliable car I have owned to date. no major issues with it other than flywheel and clutch and they were replaced 2 years ago.
I put it for £900 with the expectation of a potential buyer knocking the price down to £700 or so which the car is well worth.

btw I am not actually selling it yet , just testin the water with it as they say
