Nope, and I went to a grammar school too so it's not like I qualified for any special consideration like one might who goes to a low performing comprehensive.

Oh wow, thats amazing, how come they did that (I am applying at Exeter at the moment and curious if that can happen to me)
A few years ago when I applied for KCL War Studies I got a reduced offer - AAA reduced down to ABB. Not sure if this was for the strength of my application or the fact I was applying for a deferred year/ starting a year later.
