NHS STP Wales 2020

Thought I would start one about the Welsh STP and just see if I find anything helpful
I've applied for Respiratory and Audiology so hoping to at least get an interview

Oh really? Was that at the online test stage, or did you hear something recently? I'm still waiting to hear if I got through to interview.
At least the Welsh STP is an option too, I find the application for that a LOT easier!
Did you write a lot for your Wales application in the "Supporting Information" section?

Failed at the tests and didn't get shortlosted.
Definatly! Its way more easier but just want to hear back soon
I wrote as much as I could but it was hard

I found the tests really hard, not sure it is the fairest way to judge applicants really!

Ah okay thats good - I wrote a lot but reading back over it I felt that it might have been too much :s-smilie:

Ah ok, at least I know I’m not on my own! It’s not long until the interviews so I’m hoping it will be soon.

I have a feeling they may leave it til next week.
Did you just apply for respiratory and Sleep or another specialism?

I hope they don’t! I’m on placement currently so have to be careful with time off 😬 Just Respiratory and Sleep, I’m a student on the PTP course for Respiratory and Sleep currently so made sense to go for that one

I got an interview for Genomics yesterday! But I am still waiting to hear back from Genomic Counselling, I honestly feel as if I'm better suited for GC so it will be interesting to finally know

Haven't heard for GC either! Getting a bit nervous as interviews are 2 weeks today :eek:

I got a rejection email for NHS Wales for a post of Trainee Clinical Scientist Health Informatics. But I have not applied for it. I have applied for Trainee Genetic Counsellor post. And the subject section of the email mentioned Genetic Counselling correctly.
I have emailed them informing that I haven't applied for Health Informatics. I don't know what to make of this.

The application status on Trac jobs is still "submitted" for me. The option of "withdraw application" is still available. Are people of Health Informatics hearing back now ? Or have any genetic counselling applicants heard back now ?
