I think a) doesn't explain the breakdown into subspaces but I don't know what to say for that. I just know subspaces are things like S1 and S2.

Just realized part (c) is not answered.

The answer in blue ink for (c) is more "correct" than that in pencil. However, the answer in blue ink has also incorrect working. Both answers forget the complex conjugate and the summing of l index.
