How do I write a whole paragraph on a boat that isn’t moving, what can I do to personify it and also how can I correlate it to the sky?

You could use an extract from Wordsworth's 'The Prelude' as inspiration. You can find this on Genius - https://genius.com/William-wordswort...lude-annotated.

You could use the following as a starting point:

She sat in repose: her spine rested against the water as she floated and relaxed, content to bob along with the ebb and flow of the water. It seemed easy for her as her oars slept in the river, her palms open to the coolness of the water which provided relief from the summer heat and the glare of the midday sun.
