Mount with goal and assist today. Dude's something else.

Mount doing his thing once again. Great goal. Something about him is just magic.

Btw Ziyech has been on fire recently.

We need to get back to the clean sheets though.

You can't win every game and you can't keep a clean sheet always tbh. The league is tough and other teams are allowed to be good too!

Mendy had a bit of a dicey game when usually so reliable. Not sure on the last goal - it was really flukey but maybe Mendy needs to be stopping it.

West Ham are a good team with quality players, us playing away from home and not being competitive and clinical at key moments killed it. With a team like them you need to be 2 goals ahead in order to win because Antonio/Bowen can just go beast mode.

If they get Lingard again and Antonio avoids any injuries I reckon they can pip United to top 4. Some really good players in the side.

Disagree - they get a lot of plaudits of being a good team because they can and do set up to beat some of the top sides but they can't beat the fodder as often as they should. Man Utd will beat the smaller teams and end up racking up more points over a season I think. Can't write off Spurs of Arsenal for 4th place either.

@bj27 thoughts on Coutinho and Hazard being two of the biggest transfers from PL to La Liga but also two of the biggest flops?

No idea why, think they need different clubs in general though. Think about how Bale came to Tottenham and rediscovered his form.

They're not bad players, Madrid and Barcelona are just managed a certain way.

Bale started well at Madrid though and then faded after he had signed his huge fat contract.

Coutinho and Hazard has struggled from the start though. Maybe it was the big fees? Maybe they've moved at a time when La Liga has been declining?

Hard to see any big money moves from PL to Spain again any time soon..

I guess you only really expect PSG to spend big if they want to or the PL clubs in the next year or two.

Saul with a great contribution by playing the Everton players onside for their equaliser.

Man City bash out 7 wins in a row after their loss to Crystal Palace. Meanwhile Chelsea manage 3 wins, 3 draws and a loss.

Chelsea need to find some form quickly if you want to catch Pep Guardiola's team..

Since the start of November, Man City have bashed out 10 straight wins in the league.

Meanwhile Chelsea have 4 wins, 5 draws and 1 loss.

What happened to Tuchel and his side? @bj27

Injuries and not being able to delay games. Were clearly being shafted by the league. Lukaku and Kante and others are clearly playing against medical advice, plus Chilwells injury is clearly ****ing us over.

I think in Jan we'd assess the situation, but we've been unlucky with covid and with injuries.

Lacking a bit of clinical edge too. Should get Hazard on loan, recall Emerson back/loan Lucas digne and call it a day.

The midfield will sort itself out and to be honest Saul needs gametime. Bit hard to find rhythm when you play 45mins and get hooked off everytime.

I don't get why league cup is a thing, if it was down to me I'd play the kids until the final.

Well done Brighton

On top of this our defence being leaky clearly has to do with the defensive injuries we've had.

Start of season our first choice back three was clearly rudiger, Thiago silva and Christensen (with Chalobah to come in for Silva who needs his gametime managed).

Jorginho has been off it the last couple of games too, although the last two games Tuchel has had to make early subs to combat injuries that were not ideal, in reality we've been really unlucky, although like with Liverpool last year and city the year before, injuries to key players in a lot of positions can hurt you. @Zerforax

We always look better defensively with Kante. He makes such a difference.

Liverpool have a game in hand so it's essential we win tommorrow to keep the title fight on.

Any thoughts on the Lukaku comments btw?

Should have just bought Haaland who delivers over a season at a higher rate but at the same time I don't think what he said was that bad, just ill timed and he should have known better.

Needs to stop running his mouth. Personally if Havertz is fit the need for Lukaku decreases but he is a valuable member of the squad, last thing you need in an injury crisis is for players to start running their mouths about private matters to the media. I think he mostly said valid points from what I've heard but should have been private. He's smarter than that.

Havertz seems to be fit. May actually knick a result. If pulisic is up top the entire match we don't stand a chance.

Definitely not professional to say you'd rather be in another club in an interview. I think Tuchel made the right decision dropping him today but hope he just learns his lesson and everyone moves on. Idm him going to Inter if we get Halland.

Thing is I thought Havertz up top was solid enough anyway. He is smart enough to play that position and drag other players in.

Lukaku makes us static but he's good enough to break down buses. The guys like west ham etc. Lukaku is the guy for that occasion.

Regardless just buy Haaland and stop wasting time. Failing that bring through broja.
