Well I'll just leave this here. Only reason we went for Lukaku was because we couldn't meet the price for Halland last season. I don't think there's any debate, theoretical or not, who is/should be valued higher.

Stfu fam.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭5😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'm really ****ing salty.

Regardless Henderson clear of Gerrard because Chelsea slapped his team last time we played in FA cup final.

Losing two finals on penalties to the same team is pretty rough.

So much for dream farewell for Roman. Tuchel probably a relieved man cos Abramovich probably would've fired him this summer!

Don't remember saying I won't say anything else. You and I have very different comprehension skills.

I'm getting real tired of Azpi. And not just because of the pen.

I been saying. Man's been a liability all season.

Btw Chalobah had a stormer considering he was not playing for weeks and Tuchel put him in the final.

Btw our last 3 clean sheets in matches have come with him in the side. Guys gonna be a star in the future.

Yeah he was solid. He'd always put in some good performances but there would just be the odd mistake here and there. Looks like he's ironed those out. Also Kante back to his best is always a pleasure to see.

Easier when playing in such an experienced back line.

If you lose Rudiger and Azpi and then Thiago Silva not getting any younger - it might be harder for him.

Azpi leaks goals and is getting destroyed at all times.

Thiago Silva is great in his anticipation but you can see that he's slow at getting to people, hence why Tuchel plays a back 3 in the first place. He's good at timing challenges and slowing people down.

I think we could do with Tomori anyway, in terms of his attributes he's the exact profile of player to replace rudiger. Quick, goes into tackles, good at playing the ball, and now he has a year of experience in Serie A, a league notoriously known for defending.

Not going to win any titles with a leaky defence.

Thanks for stating the obvious. Azpi and Christensen are not good enough for us and Thiago Silva needs to be used tactically(middle of back 3, not too much running before he tweaks his ankle)

City's defenders and all of your defenders have strong recovery pace as well as great anticipation so can play a high line. In the final we struggled in the first half because our CBs were too scared to push up.

Will your new owners spend 100mil+ on defenders though?

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen declared himself not ready to play on the morning of Saturday's FA Cup final defeat by Liverpool.

Christensen was a surprise omission from Thomas Tuchel's squad, forcing the manager into a rethink before the penalty shootout loss at Wembley.

BBC Sport understands the Denmark international, 26, was due to play.

He is expected to leave Chelsea this summer, having agreed a deal with Barcelona.

Lol if he was due to play instead of Chalobah.

We really are allergic to trusting our young players.

At most he would be better than the Azpilicueta sub but that's about it.

@bj27 How many times have Liverpool beat Chelsea in domestic cup finals this season?

In all seriousness, how likely do you think it is that Arsenal could get 3rd? Chelsea's form atm is really bad.

This comment is hilarious now.

Srs.

Soon as I saw newcastle away I knew they were gonna do some ********.

Also very interesting what happens when you lose your first choice fullbacks to injury.

It was inevitable. Thursday night beckons.

We should buy kostic. Him and Chilwell would do wonders at left wingback

Reply 1418

I'm so sick of Alonso, buy Kostic already.

Also tbh Silva doesn't close down properly, people think the back three is to suit Rudiger but it's actually to suit Silva.

Reply 1419

Also sick of Pulisic wasting opportunities.

Lukaku really playing with some **** next to him.
